This Victorian curlicue plant stand is a new reproduction of a style made popular in the 1800s, during the reign of Queen Victoria. Victorian style is a reflection of the era of respectability and primness, along with the effects of the industrial revolution. The upper plate is supported by three arched stems, with curlicue ends, accented by the carved acanthus leaves and further supported in the middle with a tri shaped, cylindrical center, with carved curlicues. Ths finish is a warm nutty brown mahogany stain, hand rubbed, satin smooth. This Victorian Curlicue Plant Stand is finished is a finish is rich antique brown stain and the wood used is solid mahogany. |
