This Emile Galle designed, flower carved, plant stand is a new reproduction
of an 1846 Art Nouveau style. This hand-crafted plant stand is based on
the designer Galle who designs glass pieces with characteristic twists and
curves as modelled in this plant stand. The scalloped table top is solid
mahogany with carved flowers and plant like figural legs, joined by a trestle
base. The details are magnificent in the floral bouquet of the back splash and
apron and are a testament to the quality. The finish is a rich antique brown stain
and the wood used is solid mahogany. |
