This solid mahogany Chippendale coat and hat stand is a new reproduction of a style made popular by Thomas Chippendale in the late 1700s'. The wooden hooks are attached to the top stalk with a wooden dowel and spins. The stalk has acanthus leaf carvings. The stand finishes with cabriole legs with heavily carved knees and ball and claw feet. This Chippendale style coat and hat stand is finished in a rich antique brown stain and the wood used is solid mahogany. |
