This Emile Galle designed, flower carved, wall mirror is a new reproduction of an 1846 Art Nouveau style, which won rave reviews for the artist. Free flowing curvilinear shapes and ornamentation featuring marquetry of floral, plant and animal motifs distinguish Art Nouveau style furniture. The scalloped mirror frame is solid mahogany with carved flowers and plant like sides. The details are magnificent in the floral bouquet of the crown and are a testament to the quality. The mirror has a serpentine shape and a beveled edge. This Art Nouveau style decorative wall mirror is finished in a rich antique brown stain and the frame wood used is solid mahogany. |
