This solid mahogany pedestal end table is a new reproduction of a style made popular by Thomas Chippendale in 1780. Thomas Chippendale was a furniture maker
and master craftsman and his designs were based on variations of previously published English, French and Chinese designs. The round pie crust solid mahogany top rests on a solid mahogany pedestal base with center stalk carvings and three cabriole legs, finishing with slipper feet. The tilt top
mechanism allows the table table top to spin and tilt away for storage, while
against the wall for decoration. This Chippendale pie crust end table has been
finished in an antique brown mahogany stain. |
