This Doll sized Sofa Chair is a new reproduction of a style made popular in the Victorian period. Victorian style furniture is a reflection of the era of respectability and primness, along with the effects of the industrial revolution. This chair is large enough for a small child to sit in and is also used as a doll chair. The double acanthus flower carving adorns the crown and begins again at the arms, which flow down to the cabriole leg and finish with the Flemish feet. The upholstery is diamond tufted with buttons. This Victorian Style Doll sized Sofa Chair is finished is rich antique brown stain and the wood used is solid mahogany. |
