This 10 piece Hepplewhite dining room set is a new reproduction of a style made popular by George Hepplewhite in the late 1700s. Hepplewhite furniture such as this dining room suite is characterized by elegant, slender and graceful lines. The dining pieces are well proportioned and feature slender tapered legs, resting on spade feet. The Hepplewhite dining chair with crest rail is in the form of a sheild back, it has an urn splat with swags, square tapered legs, and spade feet. The large dining table has a double banded border with inlay, rope egde, double pedestal bases using rope adornemnt, acanthus leaf carvings, scrolled feet, an urn shaped stalk and a self storing leaf. The massive bow front dining china cabinet has matching swag carvings, banded drawer fronts, regal oval door fronts, rope edge, scroll top and finial. The storage capacity is enhanced by the full cupboard base, where ample supply of dishes can be stored. This 10 piece Hepplewhite dining room set is finished in an antique brown mahogany stain and the wood used is solid mahogany. |
