These Victorian fiddle Back dining chairs are new reproductions of a popular Victorian style from the mid 1800's. During this time the Industrial revolution was changing the way furniture was produced. Machinery made it possible to mass produce furniture for an ever increasing market. The chairs balloon shaped back has a center splat which resembles a fiddle shape. The melon ball knees are completed with reeded and fluted legs. The seat is stretched webbing over the solid mahogany frame, generously stuffed and a double piping border. The seat fabric is cream color and has a light shaded diamond pattern. These eight Victorian style fiddle back dining chairs are finished in a rich antique brown stain and the wood used is solid mahogany. |
