This solid mahogany Louis XVI style side chair is a new reproduction of a style made popular during the reign of King Louis XVI in France during the late 1700's. Louis XVI style furniture such as this high back side chair is characterized by elegant, refined lines, excellent craftsmanship and the use of classically inspired decorative motifs. The reeded edges encompass the entire frame and is also decorated with drapery tassel carvings at each corner. The fabric is a diamond pattern, light gold on off white color. This upholstered high back side chair is finished in a rich antique brown stain and the wood used is solid mahogany. |
