This solid mahogany French upholstered window bench is a new reproduction of a style made popular in France during the reign of King Louis XV in the mid 1700's. The scroll end arms continue with the cabriole legs, finishing with Flemish feet. The wooden frame is beautifully carved in a crisp deep, delicate acanthus leaf pattern. The seat fabric is a green Regency stripe bordered by a multi colored tapestry background. This French upholstered window bench is finished is rich antique brown stain and the wood used is solid mahogany. |
